ISO Internal Audit Coordinator
DLS Engineering Associates, a government engineering and logistics services firm celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2015, is seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate opening as a full-time International Organization of Standardization (ISO) Internal Audit Coordinator. The position will support the Business Operations Division (BOD) at the USCG Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) in Elizabeth City, NC.
The BOD's primary mission is to optimize value for ALC by fostering sound business decisions through strategic alliances, process planning, and data analysis with a focus toward continuous improvement.
This tasking includes, but is not limited to:
o Coordinate and monitor ISO internal audits for the ALC
o Establish ISO internal audit deadlines and assign responsibilities
o Prepare and submit project status reports to supervisor
o Determine whether business processes comply with established policies, instructions, and standards
o Ensure business processes adhere to ISO9001:2008/14001:2004 guidelines
o Assist in various tasks supporting ISO Certification for the ALC
Required
Qualifications:
o At least 1 year of experience with auditing skills that adhere to ISO standards
o A citizen of the United States of America, or an alien who has been lawfully admitted for permanent residence as evidenced by a Permanent Resident Card (USCIS I-551 )
o Experience in USCG procedures is desired to include aeronautical engineering practices as defined in Commandant Instruction Manual CIM 13020.1 (series) using the Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS), Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS), and Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS) is preferred
