We are a vital communications link between the public needing help and emergency services response.
As members of the public safety ecosystem, ECSs are typically the first point of contact when a person reaches out for help.
We dispatch and coordinate response resources for Pasquotank and Camden County Fire, EMS, and Law Enforcement agencies.
We provide you the required training necessary to do the job.
Within the first six (6) months you will receive training for Emergency Medical Dispatch, Division of Criminal Information, and Emergency Telecommunicator Certification.
Minimum experience and education:
High school education or equivalent; minimum two (2) years' experience in a customer service related position preferred.
Special requirements:
A complete background, criminal history and court system check will be conducted.
Entry level starting salary is $34,793, with consideration given to previous years of experience, if applicable.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
