Job Summary We are searching for a Process Assistant I or Process Assistant II to support our office in Elizabeth City, NC.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who possesses excellent time management skills.
There is one position which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Under general supervision, this role performs a variety of routine clerical tasks that support the construction business unit.
Work requires knowledge in the area of assignment as well as applicable department and company policies and procedures.
This will include setting up comprehensive records and files, preparing standard reports and charts, compiling data from various sources and forms, contacting other departments to obtain information and reconcile routine discrepancies, performing calculations involving complicated arithmetic, etc.
Makes minor corrections, codes items, and maintains record of documents processed.
Informs departments of missing or incorrect data.
Utilizes computer systems and/or other related equipment to record, store and retrieve information.
Compiles regular and special reports using established formats and procedures.
Performs basic clerical duties that are highly structured according to established procedures.
These and other duties as assigned constitute essential functions of the job.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Process Assistant I Basic understanding of the operation of computerized and function-related equipment to record, store and retrieve information.
0-3 years general office experience performing routine clerical or administrative tasks (Note:
A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications) Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient personal computer skills.
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Works under immediate supervision.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Minimum of 2 years general office experience performing routine clerical or administrative tasks (Note:
A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications) Proficient skills using spreadsheet and word processing applications and SAP.
Basic knowledge of company and department procedures.
Process Assistant II 3 - 4 years general office experience performing routine clerical or administrative tasks (Note:
A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications) Comprehensive knowledge of company and department procedures associated with business process or function.
Strong skills using spreadsheet, word processing and SAP.
Ability to prioritize work and exercise considerable discretion in the performance of duties.
Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong personal computer skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
Works under general supervision.
